Hello! i'm here with the first entry hehe weeellll after watching today's publicity video, im all psyched up for camp!! and when i think back on the past upward bound camps and look at how God has guided us thru each n every single one of them, i'm very assured that this camp is just gonna be great once again by His grace, aye! hoho i think at this rate we will have upward bounds forever so many many many years later, i'll be sending my kids for like upward bound 42 or something liddat! hahaha every year every camp seems to have its own highlight which lasts one year aft the camp before the next camp comes about. i remember after ub1, we were all very pro ubin and VERY VERY pro zhi-cha and hunghe especially, and like yiuming once said, changi village and ubin never felt the same (normal) anymore eversince. haha so so true - everytime i think of ubin or changi village i think of ub1 how cool is that. and then ub2 with my crazy grp! till today we remember the songs we translated into chinese - "He is my everything" and the overnight amazingrace! haha for that, lau pa sat never felt the same anymore - i mean how many people can boast of walking back from lau pa sat to telok blangah at like 3am in the morning? or asking the dessert stall aunty if she had SHI TOU LI MEE TANG (honey in the rock) at 2am in the morn? wonderful memories, i say. and ub3, hahaha when we discovered the hidden acting talents in so many of our youths, the uhohuhohuh tellie edwards! and all the silly camp idol stuff and the powerful messages we had too.
whoo looking back at all these wonderful memories, i really really see God's hand over and in the entire process of the camp, from the planning to the last day of the camp itself. upward bound 4 is gonna just be as great and as blessed, im just so sure of it, im so looking fwd to it (:
